If you are like many others, than you have probably been anxiously awaiting the reveal of the new 2011 Ford Explorer. A staple in the American way of life, the very traditional Ford Motor Company is breaking tradition in a big way! Instead of an auto show, Ford will reveal the 2011 Explorer redesign on Facebook.
On July 26, 2010, Ford along with their well-known Dirty Jobs spokesperson will reveal the “really, really different Explorer” through Facebook. We’re excited to see the new MyFord Touch and the EcoBoost engine- for starters.
Although the redesigned SUV will make its first appearance on Facebook, Ford will also be hosting several offline reveals in several major cities across the nation.
All of this change makes sense because statistics show that Facebook.com is the most popular website on the internet- what better a place to reveal one of the most popular vehicles of the decade.
